BIRD LOVER'S PARADISE

Gooseneck Hill is open Sundays from July 5 to August 30 from 2-5 PM and anytime for groups or buses of 15 or more. Cost is $7 & $5 for Seniors & Child. The tour includes: a humorous, educational slide show, adult puppet and parrot show, gift shop (1,000 items) and hand feed the 350 birds and 1,000 koi fish. Our fundraiser, The Taste of the Southtowns will be Sun. May 2, 2010 from 11-5P.M. at the Springville Fire Hall Rt. 39, Springville

GOOSENECK HILL WATERFOWL SANCTUARY

We are having a fundraiser, grand opening of our reconstructed sanctuary Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009 2-5 P.M at Gooseneck Hill Waterfowl Sanctuary. There will be country music, Rustic Ramblers 2 with Gene Hils on steel guitar, The Shop serving dinners from $5 to $6, a Chinese Auction and you will be able to hand feed the geese and our 1,000 Koi fish. Cost will be $5 per person. Please come & help us raise money to pay for our expenses.
Gooseneck Hill Waterfowl Sanctuary, a family owned, not-for-profit, 501c3 organization, located in northeastern Cattaraugus County, 45 minutes south of Buffalo, New York. One of the 2 1/2 acre aviaries was totally destroyed by the flood on August 10 killing some of the birds.
Jim Smolinski, administrative manager from Operating Engineers Local 17 Training Center is rebuilding the sanctuary at no charge to us. Gernatt Stone and County Line Stone are donating half of the stone and Creative Fence is donating the fencing.
OUR MISSION:To protect waterfowl in a natural habitat and foster the preservation of endangered species. To promote community: appreciation, awareness, acceptance and education in order to preserve and conserve waterfowl.
