Gooseneck Hill now has 37 different species of exotic ducks, geese and swans from all over the world. It is the only sanctuary where you are allowed inside the aviary to hand feed the birds lettuce and also feed our 1,000 Koi fish from Japan. We will be open on Sundays in July and August from 2-5 PM.
Gooseneck Hill Waterfowl Sanctuary, a family owned, not-for-profit, 501c3 organization, is located in northeastern Cattaraugus County, 45 minutes south of Buffalo, New York. One of the 2 1/2 acre aviaries was totally destroyed by the flood on August 10 killing 50 of the birds. We are rebuilt but still have a lot of landscaping to do.
OUR MISSION:To protect waterfowl in a natural habitat and foster the preservation of endangered species. To promote community: appreciation, awareness, acceptance and education in order to preserve and conserve waterfowl.
